Dr Elaine Harrington

Dr Elaine Harrington completed her medical training at The University of Adelaide before undertaking hospital-based work at the Royal Adelaide and Lyell McEwin Hospitals. She has completed her Diploma of Child Health and is trained in providing GP Obstetric Shared Care.

Dr Harrington considers it a privilege to work as a GP and enjoys helping patients of all ages with their health and wellbeing. She also supports the next generation of GPs through her role as a Medical Educator with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Dr Harrington provides a range of general practice procedures, including contraceptive implant insertion and removal and minor skin procedures. She also has an interest in iron deficiency and anaemia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
• Diploma of Child Health (DCH)
• Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP)
