Dr Elaine Harrington

Dr Elaine Harrington underwent medical training at The University of Adelaide before undertaking hospital-based work at the Royal Adelaide and Lyell McEwin Hospitals. She has completed her Diploma of Child Health and is trained in providing GP Obstetric Shared Care. She has found it a great privilege to work in her role as a GP and enjoys helping train the next generation of GPs in her role as a Medical Educator with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. 

Dr Harrington performs Implanon insertions and removals, iron infusions, and minor skin procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
• Diploma of Child Health (DCH)
• Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP)
